December 2023, We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our flagship project, the Makoko Children Christmas Party. This year, we brought joy and hope to over 400 children and their families in the Makoko slums of Lagos. Known as one of the largest and poorest slums in Africa, Makoko is home to thousands of children living in extreme poverty, without access to proper education or sanitation. For many of these children, the experience of Christmas and the delight of receiving gifts are entirely new.

The Makoko Children Christmas Party is an annual event we organize to celebrate the festive season with these children. This year, we provided quality meals, clothing, toys, and gifts, creating an atmosphere filled with laughter and joy. The day was packed with games and fun activities, giving the children a chance to momentarily escape their daily challenges and embrace the spirit of the holiday.

Beyond the festivities, this event serves a greater purpose. It raises awareness about the harsh realities faced by the Makoko community and advocates for their rights and dignity. Our ultimate goal is to make a positive difference in the lives of these children, inspiring them to dream of a brighter and better future.
